Spring Hills Farm resident artist/farmer Tim Hawkesworth has an upcoming exhibition, “Then and Now,” at Rosemont College! 🎨

An internationally recognized painter and draftsman, Tim has exhibited extensively throughout the United States and Europe. His work can be found in major collections including the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.

“Then and Now” will be on view August 27–September 28, 2026, in Rosemont College’s Patricia M. Nugent Gallery.

📅 Artist Reception: Saturday, September 12
🕒 Reception: 3–5 p.m.
🎤 Artist Talk: 4 p.m.
📍 Rosemont College, 1400 Montgomery Avenue, Rosemont, PA

🌿🎨 A look back at Week 2 of Earth Art Explorers!

Last week, 12 young explorers filled Spring Hills Farm with creativity, curiosity, laughter, and discovery. They explored the gardens and pond, created artwork and puppets, told stories, and found inspiration throughout the natural world.

The week was led by Devaki Constantine and Kevin Donahoe, who encouraged the children to observe closely, experiment freely, and let their imaginations lead the way.

We are deeply grateful to United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania for partnering with us and to the Scranton Area Community Foundation Robert H. Spitz grant supporting this year’s camp.

Most of all, thank you to our Week 2 Earth Art Explorers for reminding us how much wonder can be found when young people have the freedom to create, explore, get messy, and simply enjoy being in nature. We loved sharing the farm with you! 💚 United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania

Earth Art Explorers are in action at Spring Hills Farm!

This week our young artists are getting outside, getting creative, and discovering just how much inspiration can be found in the natural world around them.

From making art with leaves, textures, colors, and patterns found in nature to exploring the farm and making a few four-legged friends along the way, our Earth Art Explorers Camp is all about curiosity, creativity, and connection. 🍃🐾

We love seeing the farm become an outdoor classroom and studio in a place where kids can slow down, look closely, experiment, and experience nature in a whole new way.

A wonderful start to our week of exploring, creating, and getting a little messy! 💚
