In the Quiet is on view now at the studio & gallery through August.

This collection explores healing, motherhood, memory, and the quiet moments that often shape us most deeply. Created over the past year, these works reflect on finding beauty after loss, embracing joy, and honoring the tender spaces between grief and hope, while fully leaning on the Divine.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit, I invite you to spend some time with the work and experience the collection in person.

Make a Mug is back for June! ☕️

By popular demand, we’ve added one more class!

This has been our most attended and fastest-selling workshop so far. After receiving so many requests to add another session, I decided to make room for one more class this month.

📅 Friday, June 19 | 6:00–8:00 PM

📍 Victoria Phillips Studio & Gallery

Dalton, Georgia

All materials included

Join us for a fun and creative evening as you learn how to hand-build your very own ceramic mug from beautiful speckled brown stoneware.

During this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll:
✨ Learn basic hand-building techniques
✨ Shape and assemble your mug
✨ Add your own unique design details
✨ Select your glaze color

After the workshop, we’ll handle the finishing process. Your mug will be:

• Bisque fired
• Glazed with a food-safe glaze
• Glaze fired to Cone 5

Once completed, your handmade mug will be both microwave and dishwasher safe, ready for your morning coffee, tea, or favorite beverage.

Finished pieces will be available for pickup approximately 4–6 weeks after the workshop.

No prior ceramics experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxing evening making something both functional and beautiful with your own two hands.

☕ Space is limited and this class is expected to sell out.

Registration closes one week prior to the workshop or when all seats have been filled.

📍 Victoria Phillips Studio & Gallery – Dalton, GA
💲 Registration includes one adult + one child |All materials included

Create a special keepsake together in this heartwarming Mommy & Me Make a Mug class!

This class is inspired by a pair of mugs I made for my own daughter and myself. What started as a simple pottery project quickly became one of her favorite little mugs, something she asks for every day. That experience inspired me to create a workshop where other families can make their own meaningful memories through clay.

During this beginner-friendly class, each adult and child will hand-build their own ceramic mug using pinch techniques and add personalized details, textures, and decorations to make them uniquely theirs. Whether it’s for morning cocoa, afternoon tea, or simply a treasured keepsake, you’ll leave knowing you’ve created something special together.

✨ No experience necessary
✨ All clay, tools, glazing, and kiln firing included
✨ Create one mug per participant
✨ Finished mugs will be food-safe and ready for pickup after firing

Perfect for mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or any special adult who wants to spend creative time with a child.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Spaces are limited to ensure personalized instruction.

Reserve your spots today and make memories you’ll enjoy with every sip.

Today we hosted our very first Artist Talk at Victoria Phillips Studio & Gallery alongside artist Alisha Morgan for her exhibition Refuse to Fade and it could not have been a more meaningful afternoon.

The talk was intentionally conversational, offering an intimate glimpse into Alisha’s practice, process, and the stories woven throughout her work. Hearing directly from the artist about her memories, resilience, and creative growth added such depth to the exhibition experience.

One of my greatest hopes for this space has always been to create room for meaningful conversations around art and community, and today felt like the beginning of that vision coming to life.
