Gallery artists Anthony Sonnenberg and Annette Lawrence are included in Generative Disruption: Feminist Art from the Collection, now on view at Ruby City in San Antonio.

The exhibition brings together art made from the 1990s to today, largely from the Linda Pace Collection, to show how the ideas of 1960s and ‘70s feminist artists still shape art now. Early feminist artists embraced materials long considered “lesser,” like fiber, textiles, found objects, and embroidery, reclaiming them as fine art. The show also includes works by male artists, highlighting that feminist thinking offers tools anyone can use to explore gender roles, expectations, and inequality.

On view September 26, 2026 through August 29, 2027. Free and open to the public, Thursday through Sunday, 10AM to 6PM.

Two weeks left to see our current exhibitions🌟

Rosalyn Bodycomb’s THE WORKED SHOOT treats professional wrestling, politics, and populism as more than fringe entertainment, a central framework for understanding modern civic theater.

On view through October 17.

Ted Larsen’s wall based constructions balance the formal rigor of High Modernist abstraction with the material language of the everyday. Built from salvaged and repurposed materials, the works transform the remnants of an industrial world into precisely calibrated compositions of color, line, texture, and space.

For Larsen, the studio is a place to generate non-objective sculptures that respond to the architecture around them while giving viewers room to reflect on the emotions they bring to the work. He offers the work in this exhibition as a reflection, one that shows itself for what it is, while holding the potential to show viewers who they are.

Meaning Comes After is on view through October 17.

The gallery is open today. Message us for an exhibition preview.
