Reminder! The Dallas Opera invites you to share the joy of reading during performances of ‘The Little Prince.’ 📚 ✨

In partnership with The Birthday Party Project, we’re collecting new or gently used children’s books to support young readers in our community. Donated books will be shared between The Dallas Opera to help restock the shelves for our Family Performances, and The Birthday Party Project, where books bring comfort, imagination, and celebration to children and families they serve.

📍 Donation drop boxes will be available in the Winspear Opera House lobby throughout the run of ‘The Little Prince.’

Thank you for helping us turn stories into something even more meaningful. 💛

Introducing the 2025 Hart Institute for Women Conductors Class.👏🎶

Founded in 2015 to address the gender imbalance on opera podiums, The Dallas Opera’s Hart Institute for Women Conductors is the only program of its kind dedicated to training, advising, and supporting women conductors.
As the Hart Institute celebrates its 10th anniversary during the 2025/2026 Season, we’re proud to welcome this year’s four participants, continuing a decade-long legacy of leadership, excellence, and impact.

From this class, next season’s Martha R. and Preston A. Peak Fellowship recipient will be selected.
