After my divorce, I went to Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. I helped form a singles class for singles who had children. It’s where I met my current wife of over 20 years. A group of us were trying to decide on entertainment where we could take our kids. A woman said that her son wanted to go to the monster truck and tractor pull at the Omni. Nobody seemed interested, so I said I would go with her and her son. It was a night in Atlanta that had an unbelievable amount of traffic. She was driving and I was in the front passenger seat. Her son was in the back seat with a friend of his. We got to an intersection where traffic was coming in from the right supposedly to merge with us. An SUV with four men in it tried to merge in front of us blocking us. It was warm weather and our windows were down. Their windows were down also. The four men were saying things like don’t let the bitch get in front of us. They used a few other choice words describing the boys in the back. Something in me snapped. I looked at her and said that I have to say something. As I was getting out of our car, I noticed they were putting their windows up. I tapped on their window and told them they needed to apologize to her and the boys. Four grown men sat there, staring straight ahead and not saying a word. The traffic opened up and they pulled off, I don’t know what I was thinking. THEY must’ve thought, “This must be one mean SOB to take on four men.”

I am sick and tired of seeing commercials for ambulance chasing sleazebag lawyers. I have been in several states in the past few weeks, and it is the same everywhere. They boast about getting billions of dollars for their clients. We need tort reform in this country. It

I was kicked off of Nextdoor for 13 days because someone said that four of my replies to a post were disrespectful. The original post was, “this scam just happened to my 39 year old son in law he talked to the criminals for 10 minutes.” Then, there was a link to Dallas Express. My replies were deleted. The original post is still up.

1.Stacey, I’ll tell you why I think this is already political. The scam may be real. Probably is. But when someone puts a link up to the article that takes you to the Dallas Xpress, which is far right wing propaganda, the poster is all Able to bypass Nextdoor’s ban on posting anything about national politics by directing you to a far right wing propaganda, mill, which has all kinds of BS articles on national politics.

2.This is from the Dallas Xpress, which is a far right propaganda outlet. Google search, “D magazine story on the Dallas Xpress.“ People quoting this garbage. Hope you click on the link and they will bombard you with their lies. This is one sneaky way people posting on here can get around saying anything about national politics by the fortunately getting you to post on a local story. Another sneaky way the far right is trying to steer public opinion.


3.Louise, I didn’t accuse anybody. When anybody post anything about Dallas Xpress, I want them to know that Dallas Xpress is right wing propaganda. I suggest people do some research before reading that garbage.

4. Jackie, I never said it was. All I have said, and I repeat it to you is people should not believe anything until you research it. All I have suggested is people do a little bit of research to find out who is behind the Dallas Xpress, and they will find that it is a far right wing propaganda machine. They do post some true and interesting stories . They want you to click on the link that takes you to their propaganda. Not my opinion. But, I know nothing I say could convince you otherwise.

This, to me, is a prime example of what I have been saying, and proof of getting kicked off of ND for speaking out against right wing propaganda. The right wing propaganda stays up. I want to start a podcast so I can speak out against things like this happening without being kicked off by somebody that disagrees with me. Please, PM me if you are interested in such a podcast.

Just watched the movie, “Secondhand Lions.” Hey, the knife fight is one of the best scenes in any movie I’ve ever seen.

I dropped my wife off at the door to one of our favorite restaurant Surf Hut, and I parked the car. When I went in, the young girl, with an iPad, said, “your wife is this way.“ I said, “I came in with my girlfriend. Are you saying my WIFE is in the restaurant?” Her eyes got real big, and her mouth dropped. There were three or four employees standing around her, and everybody’s eyes got real big, and their mouth dropped. Then, I slipped and let a smile come across my face. They all burst out laughing, and the young girl with a clipboard said, “you really got me.“

We ate at one of our favorite restaurants in Destin, Boshamps. Almost as soon as we arrived, there was a young family next to us who was finishing their meal. The waiter brought out a birthday cake, and their oldest child was celebrating his eighth birthday. They started singing, happy birthday, so Jane and I joined in. The family kept singing, but turn their heads around to us, and looked really surprised. Maybe, it was how bad we sounded. I sketched the little boy, and gave it to him as a birthday gift. he seemed to enjoy , and his family thanked me. They left, and we finished our drinks, salads, and entrées. Our bill was right at $100 without a tip. The waiter came over and told us that the young family paid our bill.
