Tomorrow some amazing actors will be performing at the Pleasant Grove Library at 10:30 and 2.30! We have needed programming like this in our area for too long and I’m grateful Lisa Lee Schmidt and were funded by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture through . I can only imagine the trauma he experienced at a time when mental health was misunderstood and ptsd not even a diagnosis.

Each time there has been forward motion in the city to tell Santos’ story, the renaming, the statue, the funding for renovating the rec center, there have also been efforts from COMMUNITY MEMBERS to support his family. That needs to change:
