We had a challenging project with this very diverse casting, including two that speak French and one needed to be legit from Africa :) Well, we got it covered, and very proud of these talented actors from all over Texas. It's always fun to be Behind the Scenes and watch them work! Congrats to Iba Thiam, Marie France Louis, Nikita Patel, Meagan Harris, Anthony Hernandez, & Ash Thapliyal.

PS ...and two of the actresses had to do two different accents...very impressive!

India Men (4) - Talent from India, possible different zones of India.

French Speaking Black African Men - specifically from Cameroon if possible. Must speak fluent French. Possibly from Haiti.

UK Talent - Any gender, Caucasian or Multiracial.

Black African Men - African male talent from any country in African

Brazilian Men/Latin America - Males with real accents from different countries of South America.

Did you remember to make your bed today? Did you remember to take your vitamins? Did you remember to trust your instincts? And what I mean by that is: Are you listening to your heart and soul's whispers that keep reminding you that you have a purpose. I remember hearing years ago "What is your purpose"...Gosh, I don't know...I guess I need to figure that out. Well, here is what I learned. First of all...What is a purpose and how do I know if I've found it?

Your purpose is becoming more of who you were meant to be. It's what the real you feels like.

You know you are on the right track of finding your purpose when something sparks your curiosity and you want to dive deep into that subject. You know you are on the right track when you say..."I've ALWAYS wanted to be a ...(fill in the blank)...but that' probably just a pipedream" You have now stumbled onto something here... You might have just found your purpose. Whatever you dream, can be. Listen to those whispers giving you these thoughts.

You know it is your purpose when you turn off your alarm in the morning and you are EXCITED about what this day is bringing instead or feeling like your are burdened or missing out on something bigger. You know it is your purpose when you don't feel confused anymore about what you want to do. You know you have found your purpose when it feels good to be who you truly are and you LIVE and LOVE this thing (purpose) and it motivates you.
What does following your instincts, trusting your whispers look like and how do I start?

First, Listen to your soul and what is telling you.

Acknowledge that little child dream or gift. It is there for a reason. Trust that.

TAKE A STEP IN THAT DIRECTION

(what in the world does "taking a step" look like???)

1. Take a step: Ask a question?
2. Take a step: Read a book on the subject.
3. Take a step: Get involved in groups, classes that discuss this subject.
4. Take a step: Surround yourself with mentors, people that align with your thoughts and ideas, so that you begin to radiate so much of your purpose, that you can no longer ignore those whispers...You know it is who you truly are and it feels right.

This was on my heart this morning in the form of a whisper and I
would be happy to answer any question you may have. Can I help you take a step?

Everyone had a great attitude and ready to rock in front of the camera, even when they had to be outside for a couple of scenes when it was super chilly! More Behind the Scenes:
So completely proud of this group of actors that were selected for this project. Katharine Franco Lisa Rosewell Abbey Killin and Raymond Rivera.
They hit the mark on finding their characters personality and plus, being so enjoyable to work with.
It’s actually important to do both as an actor. Do your job: meaning, study your character, be off book, come prepared AND its also important to be a JOY on set! It goes a long way and you are remembered for that!
Congratulations Actors! You are the definition of a professional working actor!
