My moms best friend bought this ring in in a jewelry jar from value village
As mentioned my mom’s bestie found this ring in a jewelry jar she acquired for a stunning 15.00CAD (she swears) roughly 6-7 years ago. She saw the stamp on the band and held onto it. I’m engaged and this was her congratulatory gift to me. I intend to keep it forever based on sentiment, I’m planning to get it cleaned and properly appraised as well. The ring says 14k however the jewel setting appears to be silver… what are the odds the stones are real, they look like diamonds and ruby’s to me. See less

I’m unsure if I ever shared this or not but I’m obsessed with this frog lamp my parents got me from an antique shop for my birthday last year.
God knows how much it cost or where exactly it was from, possibly in Worcester England - but I love having such a cute regal character to light up my room - lamp shade wasn’t included so I went for this copper inlay one to really make him glow!

Ok, I know this seems like a little silly thing, but I was so excited to find this necklace.
On the left is my original necklace my mum bought for me when I was about 8 years old, I love it dearly and was very careful with it but the beads came unraveled, I saved every bead and taped it up and never wore it again to preserve it.
And on the right is the necklace I found last week at the salvation army!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it! All these decades later I've never seen another one. I took a picture right away and sent it to my mum and then skyped her when I got home and rummaged until I found my original necklace.
