Oral Fixation (An Obsession with True Life Tales)

Oral Fixation (An Obsession with True Life Tales) Nicole Stewart presents an entertaining evening of true stories told straight from the horse's mouth Do YOU have a story to share?

Oral Fixation (An Obsession with True Life Tales) is a live, traveling storytelling series for adults created in Dallas in 2011. Featuring local folks from all walks of life, Oral Fixation's mission is to bring together the community through sharing true, personal stories. Each show has a theme which is always an idiom: a phrase that has both a literal and a figurative meaning. The evening of stories is curated and heavily edited by Oral Fixation creator Nicole Stewart. She solicits stories from the general public then selects a diverse range of points of view to create an hourlong evening that takes the audience on an emotional journey. One moment the audience is laughing in recognition of shared experiences. The next, tears may come as storytellers courageously reveal their truths. The result is an experience that is cathartic for both the tellers and the listeners. Find out how and much more by visiting our website at www.oralfixationshow.com. Well, hot dog! We've got an exciting opportunity for you. For our upcoming show, we're looking for stories on the theme "Going Viral".

Tell us about the remarkable, shocking, horrific, or hysterical experience you had during Covid. Or maybe you're an influencer of some kind and you've had a post, story, or idea go viral online. Or if you have another unique take on the "Go Viral" theme, we want to hear it! Remember: all stories must be true and have happened to you.

We're looking for diversity in our storytellers and need your submissions ASAP so we can get started on the editing process. There are only 7 storyteller spots so get writing!

Here's the Google Form link with more info & a place to upload your true life tale. Questions? Ask in the comments!
