After my 40th birthday I knew I had to do something. The weight had started to creep up and wasn’t going away. A girlfriend introduced me to Nia in April of 2009 and I instantly fell in love! It’s been 12 years and I have completed over 7 weeks of intensive training earning my Nia Second Degree Black Belt in February of 2020. In addition to Classic Nia Classes, I am also a licensed Nia Moving to H
eal and 5 stages Instructor. These modalities are an amazing addition to the Classic Nia Practice allowing for self-healing and customized movement. I frequently incorporate these classes during my weekend retreats. During the time of COVID we have all had to adjust to a new way of living. I have transitioned my classes to an online 30 minute format complemented by hour long outdoor classes on Fridays in Dallas, TX when weather permits. My personal online classes are available via Zoom livestream OR 24 hour Video Access. I also teach two online classes per week via movestudio.com.
