Oak Cliff Holiday Lights Oak Cliff Holiday Lights (formerly Trailridge Holiday Lights) is located in Dallas, Texas. Self taught holiday lighting enthusiast.

Trailridge Holiday Lights is a show specifically on Oak Park Estates neighborhood. Each year I try to learn a new skill or feature to use in my display. I am always improving my props, placement, etc. I have transitioned from traditional and LED lighting to pixel lights, giving me individually addressable lights in millions of colors. I am also expanding to include other homes.

Two new sequences in the show starting tonight. Popular and Defying Gravoty based on the OGs of Wicked ok Broadway (which I was able too see early in the beginning). These are fun additions. Check them out after sunset any evening.

Sorry to share but we are taking a year off this year from Halloween and likely Christmas. There has been a lot going on and I don’t know that we have the energy to pull this all off.

It’s nearing the middle of November, and many have displays set up. But I am a one man show here at Oak Cliff Holiday Lights and I am now preparing for deployment. Many changes this year with more pixels, some new large decor and even more lights in the three homes.

We did not post much this year. Late getting the display up but we did it. 3 homes this year. Big plans in the works if funding works out for 2023. Thanks to all who stopped by and watched and the lovely comments on here and NextDoor. Tonight is the last night. May you all have a blesssd new year.

Come get some holiday spirit and watch our lights dance to the music every night on Trailridge Drive between Rugged and Cripple Creek. Shows from 530-900 and until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays. The week of Christmas we will go to 10 every night. The lights are on until 1030 without music following the show times. Happy Christmas.

We are live with shows nightly from 530-900. We will extend later right before Christmas.

New this year we have gone all pixels. Offering millions of colors that match and much easier wiring and set up we have over 5000 of them in the yard. It’s a colorful Christmas dream

We will be adding more to the show each week or at least the first couple of weeks.

The Joy House

2020 and COVID have tried to steal our joy but that is not going to happen. Halloween is in full play right now, with lights each night for a static display of skeleton horses and a werewolf. Plus each of our front windows has a little fun scene set up from the ghostly haunt in the front window, to the ghost disco. to the grim reaper meeting his covid guest in the other. On weekends we bring out the smoke machines to create an ery look of a haunted yard. UPDATE: We will be going dark for Halloween night. With the spike in COVID cases, we do not want to encourage any unsafe behavior. So Friday, October 30, will be our last night live. Sound and smoke and all the haunts of a fun Halloween will be going before we remove the display on Saturday. Be sure to drive by and check it out before it vanishes to the nether worlds until next year. Christmas 2020 is already on our minds, and we think this year just a drive through Trailridge Drive will be fun. We are doing our primary house and the neighbors up with our synchronized lights and music this year. So don't miss it. The inaugural show will be after sunset on Thanksgiving and continuing on through Christmas with our standard final 2020 show as we ring in the new year. Let us know if you come by. We love to meet our fans and hear the joy of kids being gobsmacked by the lights. Let's make sure we send 2020 out with lots of Joy from the Joy House on Trailridge and Oak Cliff Holiday Lights.
