Governor Proclaims Friday, July 3 as Ethiopian Day in Minnesota
We are honored to announce the proclamation by the Governor of Minnesota declaring Friday, July 3, as Ethiopian Day in Minnesota.
This proclamation recognizes the rich history, cultural heritage, and significant contributions of the Ethiopian community throughout Minnesota. It celebrates the achievements of Ethiopian Americans in business, education, healthcare, public service, the arts, and many other fields that strengthen our state and enrich our communities.
Ethiopian Day is an opportunity for all Minnesotans and everyone coming to the 43rd annual tournament to celebrate Ethiopia’s vibrant traditions, values, and enduring spirit, while also recognizing the important role the Ethiopian community plays in the social, cultural, and economic life of Minnesota.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Governor for this meaningful recognition and to the Ethiopian community whose dedication, resilience, and accomplishments continue to make Minnesota a better place for all.
Join us in celebrating Ethiopian Day in Eagan Minnesota on Friday, July 3 at TCO stadium as we honor our heritage, unity, and shared future.

የሚኒሶታ ግዛት ገዢ ጁላይ 3፣ 2026ን “የኢትዮጵያ ቀን” ብለው አወጁ
በESFNA ክብረ በዓል አካል ሆኖ ዓርብ፣ ጁላይ 3፣ 2026 “የኢትዮጵያ ቀን” ተብሎ በሚኒሶታ ግዛት ገዢ መታወጁ ታላቅ ክብርና ደስታ ሰጥቶናል። ይህ ታሪካዊ ዕውቅና የኢትዮጵያውያንን ባህል፣ ቅርስ እና ለማህበረሰቡ ያበረከቱትን አስተዋፅኦ በማክበር እንዲሁም በኢትዮጵያውያንና በሚኒሶታ ሕዝብ መካከል ያለውን ጠንካራ ወዳጅነት ያንጸባርቃል።
በESFNA 2026 ስንሰበሰብ፣ ባህላችንንና ስኬቶቻችንን ብቻ ሳይሆን ማህበረሰባችንን የሚያስተሳስሩትን አንድነት፣ ኩራት እና መንፈስ እንዲሁም እናከብራለን።
ለዚህ ትርጉም ያለው የእውቅና መግለጫ እና በሚኒሶታ ግዛት እና ከዚያም ባሻገር የኢትዮጵያውያን አሜሪካውያን ያበረከቱትን ዘላቂ አስተዋፅኦ ስለተገነዘቡ ለሚኒሶታ ገዢ ከልብ እናመሰግናለን።
በጁላይ 3፣ 2026 የሚካሄደውን የባህል፣ የማህበረሰብ እና የላቀ ስኬት አንድነት የሚያሳይ የማይረሳ በዓል በታላቅ ጉጉት እንጠብቃለን።
