Imagine a performance that tackles social issues in ways that allow the local community to engage in conversations about citizenship and plan courses of action that can influence public policy. Imagine a show where the audience instead of passively sitting walks through an adventure of t
heir choosing through a 7-story building. Imagine a new type of performance unlike any before seen in Dallas that brings muliti-disciplinary artists together with audience members to create spectacle, creatively engage with social issues and participate in daring new styles of theatre that reflect our 21st century world. We are a group of young artists working to bring the Dallas theatre scene to the 21st century through a collision of disciplines, a social consciousness, a hybridity of forms, a non-hierarchical method of creation and the breaking of traditional theatrical constructs. We hope to create a community of artists who’s work will be recognized nationally and internationally. We tackle social issues, dive head first into controversial topics and challenge our audience to think about their role in the world and take action in their community. We believe in the power of the theatre to transform communities. We know that theatre is dead when it is complacent and privileged. It’s time for new voices, new methods and new aesthetics!
