Creating a little galaxy on water ✨

By dropping two colors into the bath at the same time, they expand and blend naturally across the surface—forming beautiful nebula-like swirls. Every movement of the water creates something completely unique. It’s almost like watching a miniature universe unfold! 🤩🎨✌️

⛓️‍💥🎨Breaking the rules in water marbling today. 🎨⛓️‍💥

Normally you skim the surface before painting so the colors spread smoothly. This time, I let a film build on the surface instead. When the paint hits it, the colors crack and break through, creating these incredible geometric, platelet-like textures.

One of my favorite things about water marbling is mixing curiosity, science, and art—sometimes the best effects come from simply experimenting. 🎨💧

In this video, we’re creating a set of hand-marbled pet bandannas using the beautiful art of water marbling.

During our workshops, guests can design their own bandannas for their fur babies, choosing colors and watching the swirling patterns come to life on the water before transferring the design onto fabric.
