The Dallas Ballet Center creates a positive learning environment within 7 spacious and professionally-designed studios, where nurturing faculty teach all dance disciplines in the most effective, safe, and productive manners, encouraging students to excel to their full potential.

HIGH-LEVEL PERFORMANCES
The Dallas Ballet Center is well known known for its high caliber productions and full-length ballets, all enhanced by professional quality sets, choreography, lighting design, and elaborate costumes. Artistic directors Brent and Judy Klopfenstein are committed to offering students performing opportunities of the highest quality not only for the benefit of their dance education and stage experience, but also for their development as future arts patrons. Dallas Ballet Center students also participate in productions of the Dallas Ballet Company, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded by the Klopfenstein’s in 1989 to provide further pathways for pre-professional dancers to perform for the community. TECHNICAL DANCE CLASSES
The Dallas Ballet Center’s curriculum provides students with a strong technical foundation and strives to produce dancers well-rounded in strength, stamina and flexibility, all while fostering their growth as performing artists. The school’s classes are divided into three divisions: pre-school, elementary, and pre-professional, in order to help students practice proper classical technique appropriately according to their age and ability. Classes emphasize the importance of correct placement, connectivity of movement, overall agility, and performing ability.

Fine Arts Signing Day at Highland Park High School! Congratulations to Dallas Ballet Senior Company member Olivia Bond!

Olivia will attend the University Honors Program at Southern Methodist University in the Hunt Leadership Scholars Program and as a BBA Scholar. She will pursue a double major on scholarship in the Cox School of Business and on scholarship in BFA Dance Performance at Meadows School of the Arts.

In addition to training and performing with Dallas Ballet Company, Olivia is an instructor and choreographer. Her work “Beethoven for IX” debuted at Les Danses D’Automne 2025 and was selected for the 2026 RDA Southwest Festival Emerging Artist Performance.

Dallas Ballet Center offers classes starting at age 18 months through adult, levels beginner through pre-professional, in ballet, boys dance, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater and more!

Dallas Ballet Center is the official training school for Dallas Ballet Company and will be celebrating its 40th Nutcracker Season this year!

Ballet V students taking class with last week!

Mr. Pardina is a distinguished ballet coach, including coaching two Prix de Lausanne winners and coaching the first ever Grand Prix winner of the YAGP finals in NY.

He served as principal teacher for the trainee program at Miami City Ballet, is a former Artistic Director of the Nice Opera Ballet in France, and taught at the HARID Conservatory.

Mr. Pardina’s professional dance career includes International Principal dancer, and he replaced Rudolph Nureyev at the Covent Garden in London.

Mr. Pardina comes to Dallas Ballet Center 4-6 times a year to work with our dancers!
