A gateway to the Dallas Arts District, Moody Performance Hall, located at the intersection of Routh and Flora St. is a multi-disciplinary center that brings a broad range of cultural performances and events by a growing group of emerging and midsize cultural organizations representing all artistic disciplines and the diverse heritages of our community to the Dallas Arts District.

We have opened the process for requesting event dates September 1, 2027 through August 31, 2028. To schedule events or activities at Moody Performance Hall, requests may be submitted a maximum of 12 months in advance of the beginning of the season. An updated MPH Facility Request Form for the 2027/2028 season is on our website – all date requests for the 2027/2028 Season must be submitted using this updated form. Please review the updated MPH Booking & Reservation procedures informational guide also on our website.

Application deadline for early consideration for the 2027/2028 season is Monday, November 30, 2026. After all requests submitted by this deadline are reviewed using the tier system, all other reservation requests will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

(Limited dates for the 2026-2027 season are still available and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.)

The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture seeks qualified candidates for an Electronic Technician (known in the performing arts/live events industry as a Stage Technician) at Moody Performance Hall, located in the Dallas Arts District.

This position provides technical & production support with a heavy emphasis on audio and video engineering and production for arts & cultural events. The Electronic Technician is a part of the stage operations staff which reports to and works closely with the Senior Electronic Technician (Technical Director) in the ex*****on of the hall’s event productions. A wide range of events are presented in this rental venue including dance, theatre productions, orchestra/symphony concerts, speaking engagements, choirs, and other events.

Deadline is September 29, 2026 at 12AM.
