Don’t hate me, but… 👀
This is why restaurant Thai food tastes better 🇹🇭✨

A lot of home cooks are using the wrong ingredients, wrong sauces, and wrong techniques without realizing it.

Here are a few things Thai restaurants do differently:
• They use REAL fish sauce for depth of flavor
• Coconut cream and coconut milk are NOT the same thing
• Thai food should be balanced: salty, sweet, sour, spicy
• Fresh aromatics matter WAY more than powdered seasonings
• High heat cooking changes everything 🔥
• The brand of curry paste actually matters
• Jasmine rice makes a huge difference
• Most bottled “Pad Thai sauce” doesn’t taste authentic 👀

Sometimes the best Thai cooking ingredients show up where you least expect them 👀 Found this firm organic tofu at Costco and had to grab it. Perfect for stir fries, curries, soups, crispy tofu dishes, and easy high-protein meals at home.

One thing about tofu — texture matters. Firm tofu holds up so much better in cooking and soaks up all the flavor 🤍

Took my daughter and her friends to see BTS in theaters tonight and honestly… watching their excitement was my favorite part 💜✨

The singing, the dancing, the bias debates, the matching outfits… it was such a fun reminder that music really brings people together across generations. Seeing them so happy made me emotional in the best way. 🥹

Trying the new smooth chili sauce from MegaChef 🌶️👀

It’s sweet, tangy, smooth, and honestly gives a more restaurant-style dipping sauce vibe. Perfect with spring rolls, dumplings, fried chicken, or drizzled over rice bowls.
