Dallas Art Fair Foundation is proud to support Booker T. Live! Returning to Strauss Square on Oct. 25, this annual music festival presents students and alumni of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Buy your tickets today! October 25 @ 7:30pm.

This year’s lineup features guest artist and headliner Ishi, alumni such as singer Tippy Balady, Kole, John AQUA, DJ Amarji and Southern Ballroom Princess and student performers AKA + 2, Death By Monkey, i45, KAATII, RJ and Friends, Session0 and WIMEC.

100-year-old cradle of the Arts District, Booker T. High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, is home to 1,000 young creatives and the next gen of artists, changemakers and innovators.

In Anna Kunz’s paintings, tessellating, seeping bodies of color mingle and levitate, resulting in lifted, sometimes dissonant, harmonies, often landing in surprising resolutions. These relationships and reactions occur simultaneously, like an entire improvisational jazz arrangement played as the receiver encounters each pitch and chord of color. Unexpected notes of form provide a site of, in the artist’s words, “shared sensory experiences and the temporary disruption of social and material boundaries.”

Dedicated to presenting leading galleries and new talent, the fair returns to Fashion Industry Gallery from April 2 - 6, 2025. Dallas Art Fair will open on the evening of Wednesday, April 2nd with the Preview Benefit hosted by the Dallas Art Fair Foundation. In addition to offering dynamic programming, the fair will coincide with Nasher Prize, for what is sure to be an exciting week in Dallas!
