A new round of March/April classes start tomorrow and Sunday at Big Laugh Comedy Club taught by former Training Director of Four Day Weekend, Kevin Small (HBO's Sketch Pad2). 5-6 week courses including, "Intro To Improv Intensive" (in-person), "Long Form" (in-person), "Storytelling" (virtual) and "Sketch Writing" (virtual). All class end with a Showcase Performance on the Big Laugh stage.

Small Steps Performing Arts' first term was a huge success, so we're offering even more classes for the second term. This go around, all classes will end in a Student Showcase performance at the Big Laugh Comedy Club in downtown Ft. Worth. That's right, every paid class ends with a Showcase performance.

We are still offering the "Free Intro To Improv" Class, but now we have the follow up for those that want to continue their improv journey with the "Intro To Improv Intensive". This 5-week course is the equivalent of other improv schools Level 1 and 2 combined and ends with a performance.

For those writers in our group, we have two classes that might interest you. We have our traditional "Sketch Writing" class that will end with a performance this go around and a new "Storytelling" Class that will also end in a performance. These two classes are virtual and in-person towards the end.

We also have an "Acting For All" Class that will be in-person and end in a showcase performance. Everyone will get to perform a monologue/scene/sketch at the showcase.

And finally, "LONG FORM IMPROV" class for those that want to explore a more scene based style of improv. This class has been requested for some time now and we will visit many forms of Long Form and choose one style to perform in your showcase.
