NTPA - Dallas NTPA - Dallas provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for youth to learn the about the arts and develop Countless lives have been touched through our programs.

For 25 years, North Texas Performing Arts - including our Plano Children's Theatre, Frisco Youth Theatre and McKinney Youth Theatre - has been serving children, families and the community by providing arts opportunities to youth through education, entertainment, special needs programming and collaboration with area charities. Now it's time to bring the life-changing impact of theatre to Dallas. NT

NTPA-Dallas' Student of the Month!

In May, we celebrated the Ten Character of Respect—honoring others, showing kindness in every interaction, and treating the rehearsal room like a second home. 🩶

Now that we’re heading into June, we’re excited to highlight one student who truly embodied this value this month. Please join us in celebrating Sofia, whose respectful spirit sets the tone for everyone around them. Here’s what Sofia's directors and castmates had to say:

“Sofia is a dream to have in rehearsals. She is always paying attention, and she comes to rehearsals prepared. She is focused and ready to learn anything new that is thrown her way. She is willing to help anyone that needs it, and she always has a smile on her face.”

Every show was different, every show was beautiful. Every show was heartbreaking 💔. Out of an abundance of caution and due to incoming inclement weather, NTPA will be closing tonight at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28. All rehearsals and classes are cancelled. If your student has a class or rehearsal scheduled during this time, their director will provide next steps and additional details through Google Classroom.
