We’re celebrating Labor Day Weekend the only way we know how… by finding an excuse to party every single day. 😂

🎂 SATURDAY — OUR 5TH BIRTHDAY BASH!
It’s officially been FIVE YEARS since we reopened Children’s Aquarium Dallas! Come celebrate with us with a foam cannon, plenty of aquarium fun, and gourmet lemonade available for purchase from Sweets Lemonade Company! 🍋🫧

Come get soaked, grab a lemonade, and help us celebrate 5 years!

🦎 SUNDAY — SQUASH’S RETIREMENT PARTY!

After many years of teaching families about bearded dragons and reptiles, our beloved Squash is officially clocking out. 🫡 At 13 years old, she’s earned a life of naps, snacks, and absolutely no responsibilities.

Squash will be relaxing in her habitat Sunday, so stop by to wish her a happy retirement and sign her retirement card! 💛 She’s ready for old lady mode.

🍭 MONDAY — LABOR DAY FUN!

We’re keeping the party going with co****le + cotton candy! Come hang out, play a few games, grab some cotton candy, and enjoy your day off with the animals.

Three completely different parties. One very busy aquarium weekend.

🪸 BUILD A REEF! 🪸

Little hands can build a BIG reef! 🖐️🐠

Join us this weekend, August 15 & 16 from 10 AM–2 PM, for Build a Reef, a colorful hands-on activity designed especially with our littlest ocean explorers in mind!

Kids will trace their hand on colorful paper, cut it out, decorate their very own “coral” with all kinds of fun craft supplies, and then add it to our giant community reef. 🌈

As more little reef builders visit throughout the weekend, we’ll watch our blank ocean transform into one BIG, bright, colorful coral reef — made entirely by our guests! 🪸🐟✨

It’s simple, creative, a little messy (the best kind of activity), and perfect for preschool-aged kiddos who want to make their mark on the aquarium.

📅 August 15 & 16
⏰ 10 AM–2 PM
📍 Children’s Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park
🎟️ Included with aquarium admission & membership
Come lend us a hand building our reef! 😉🖐️🪸
