The LCC is a 27,000 square foot facility with a 300-seat theater, a multi-purpose room, an art gallery, and sculpture courtyards that are widely used by local, regional, and international artists. Serving as a regional catalyst for the preservation, development, and promotion of Latino and Hispanic arts and culture, vibrant educational classes and events for children, adults, and families take place throughout the year at the LCC.

Step inside the world of boxing through the lens! Join photographer David Hanes-González for a hands-on photography workshop presented in conjunction with No Te Dejes at the Latino Cultural Center.

Hosted at Casa Guanajuato in Oak Cliff, this workshop will explore the art of visual storytelling while giving participants the opportunity to photograph the energy, movement, and emotion of the sport of boxing.

The Latino Cultural Center invites community members, artists, and organizations to create an altar/ofrenda honoring the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed.

Our annual Día de los Mu***os exhibition is a space to remember, celebrate, and share the stories of those who continue to live on through us. Altares may be traditional or take on a contemporary interpretation while honoring the cultural significance of this tradition.

✨ Share your vision with us and become part of this year’s exhibition.

🎬 THE DALLAS LATINO FILM FESTIVAL IS HERE!

The Latino Cultural Center, in partnership with , is proud to announce the inaugural Dallas Latino Film Festival, happening September 4–5, 2026 in Dallas, Texas! 🎥

More than a film festival, DLFF is bringing together filmmakers, production companies, industry organizations, and film lovers for two days of screenings, workshops, panels, Q&As, networking, and community.

🤝 Featuring collaborations with:productions







🎞️ September 4 will spotlight industry organizations and creative partners through dedicated blocks of screenings, workshops, panels, and conversations.

🎬 September 5 will feature official selections from filmmakers who submitted to the festival, along with additional programming and opportunities to connect with the people shaping the film industry in North Texas.

Charreria explores the artistry, discipline, and cultural significance of one of Mexico’s national sport, presenting an ethnographic study of the communities that continue to preserve and shape this centuries-old tradition. Kollock’s photographs capture moments of pride, devotion, and everyday life among charros and charras, revealing the deep connections between heritage, identity, family, and community. The exhibition invites viewers to consider charrería as a living cultural practice that extends beyond the arena.

Brent Kollock was born in Houston, Texas, and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University in 1992. He currently lives and works in Nayarit, Mexico, where his photographic practice focuses on documenting cultural traditions, everyday life, and the communities that preserve Mexico’s rich artistic and social heritage. His work reflects a long-standing interest in visual storytelling and the relationships between people, place, and tradition.

The Latino Cultural Center is now accepting applications for the annual Día de los Mu***os Festival, and are looking for vendors, artists, nonprofits, and community organizations to help honor this meaningful cultural celebration.

We're seeking vendors whose work reflects the spirit and traditions of Día de los Mu***os.

We welcome applications from:
🎨 Local artists and artisans
🌼 Handmade goods and cultural crafts
🍞 Traditional food and beverage vendors
💀 Calavera, papel picado, candle, flower, and altar-inspired creations
📚 Cultural organizations and educational booths
