City of Dallas Department and Facility Schedule for the Upcoming Furlough Day:
On July 10, the Bath House Cultural Center will operate under its standard public hours. The facility will be closed during daytime hours for camp programming and will reopen in the evening to present a scheduled performance.

Other regional cultural centers remain closed. BHCC employees will observe furlough day on an alternate day.

Various City of Dallas facilities will be closed on Friday, July 10 for a staff furlough day.
Emergency services will operate as normal.

"Glyphs as Symbols of Culture and Self,” a hands‑on creative workshop led by artist Erica Con.

Participants will dive into the history and meaning of glyphs, then create their own personal symbols inspired by identity, memory, and heritage. No art experience needed—just your curiosity and voice!
