I'm a 28 year-old self-taught "artist" with a penchant for long sentences, rainy weather, coffee, black and white (with a touch of gold!), the smell of parchment and baked goods! I do not like making lists (takes away the challenge!) but I love multi tasking, am barefooted most of the time, and I'm still figuring out how green my thumb is (3/10 in plant growing is a success?). I've also just reali
zed that I use a lot of exclamation points when describing myself! Making things, is meditative for me - whether it's making software, baking, knitting or working with ink and paper. So far in, everything I've made has been a gift to someone and so my inspiration has come from the people that I've made things for - to celebrate them or their achievements. After much persuasion, I've decided to actually sell items that I've made. I've never thought of myself as a business owner (is one an owner if they've sold only 10 items?) and so "this" is new! This is the first time I'm inspiring myself to make things that I believe YOU will like. My style is to usually hide the main drawing to create an illusion of sorts - however, there is usually a distinctive pattern or extra white space, that if you follow closely, will reveal the piece. I've added color to some of the prints, to make this "unravelling" easier. I hope you find something you like, or contact me so I can make you something you do!
