Tomorrow is the big day! We’ve been so hard at it work setting up, the day snuck up on us!
Some FAQs:
When do you open and close? We will open around 6:30pm on Thursday, Friday (Halloween), and Saturday. We close around 9:30pm, but may stay open until 10pm if there is foot traffic.
What day is best?
Thursday followed by Saturday would be your best days to spend time looking around. Halloween is around 2000 attendees and so less opportunities for looking around, taking pictures, etc.
Where are you located?
Near the corner of Beacon St and Bryan Pkwy, 75206. You’ll see the Hogwarts Express and the brick wall entrance on the fence.
Where should I park?
Best to park along Swiss Ave. and walk over. Parking on Bryan Pkwy is possible but can be tough.
Are tickets needed?
No, this is totally free. However, we are doing a charity drive if you would like to help (see below).
Should I wear a costume?
Many people do dress up, as there are a lot of photo opportunities. So yes, we encourage it!
Where do I drop my donations for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center? At the Leaky Cauldron.
What donations are you collecting? We’re asking for your help this year to collect new, unused board games, fuzzy blankets and unwrapped gifts to help restore joy for a child this holiday season.
Can I donate online?
Yes, the DCAC Amazon Wish List can be found here:

I am volunteering as a witch or wizard, what do I do? A little before your scheduled time, track down one of the owners and they’ll show you. Btw, you will have so much fun with this! And thank you for volunteering!
Wow, that sounds fun - I would like to volunteer to be a wizard or witch and show young wizards and witches how to cast spells, or can help you pack on Sunday. Great! Please check out our Sign-Up Genius: https://m.signupgenius.com/ #!/showSignUp/9040D4FACA6292-59512813-dumbledores
