Today is National Drug Take Back day. Gather your unused and/or expired prescriptions, medicines, and other drugs and drop them off at a location near you between 10 am and 2 pm local time today.
Drop offs are anonymous, and collection sites will take near-any type of drug to help to get them out of potential circulation and to properly dispose of them.
Many people who OD get the drugs they use from their family and friends, and misuse of prescription drugs can be just as deadly as street drugs, which is a sad thing to write. Not to mention that improper disposal of drugs can harm the planet and the overall health of the collective.
Help limit the misuse of unused drugs by gathering yours up and taking them to your nearest collection site. I’ve posted a link to make it easy! And if you miss today, you can still find a site that will collect all throughout the year.
