⚠️I must preface this by saying, that this is only an observation and that I do not agree with the the views of the ministry’s Muggle Born Registration Commission⚠️

Ok guys. There was SOOOOOO much to talk about but I will have to break it up!

But the first thing that got me excited, then concerned, then excited again, was JACOB KOWALSKI WITH A WAND IN HOGWARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

How will he be able to perform magic?!?!?!

Toph vs Basilisk Theory💚🐍🏰
Another crossover into one of my favorite shows! Here to all my ATLA fans out there!

Theory:
Toph would whoop Slytherin's monster all day, everyday. I believe she would have no issue looking into the eyes of the Basilisk because she cannot see!

Reasoning:
I believe the magic of the Basilisk's deadly stare has something to do with one's ability to truly see the yellow eyes of the Basilisk. Blind people, in my opinion, and based on the rationale that a Basilisk's stare requires the victim to truly look into its eyes, have an advantage in that they do not have to worry about "death by stare," however they are not immune to the venomous fangs that have the potential to kill within minutes.

Again, our little friend Toph has an advantage. She sees through earthbending and this will give her the edge on the Basilisk as she can sense and feel the way the Basilisk is moving. I also believe she would have been an ideal candidate to find where the Chamber of Secrets is, and wouldn't need Parseltongue to get in. She could either metalbend the door open, or earthbend the door out of the wall.

What do you think? Could Toph Beifong be the answer to dealing with Basilisks?
