I couldn’t be happier to jump back into storytelling this year by guest directing MASKS at ! Learn more about auditions and/or submit a virtual audition via link below. Auditions are open to ALL and we will be accepting submissions until Tues 3/19 6pm.

Masks will feature real stories from performers/students about a time when they “put on or took off a mask”. A mask is neither positive nor negative. Masks can be a way to hide, codeswitch, deceive, explore, conform, expand, be fluid, transform – performers can interpret the theme and connect with it whichever way feels most authentic to them and their experiences. The show will also feature improvised movement scenes inspired by the stories told (*please note that performers with disabilities can opt out of the movement portion of this performance).

Performers selected to participate in this show will essentially get a FREE storytelling course as a part of the rehearsal process. All performers will be trained on the fundamentals of storytelling and receive 1:1 coaching on the stories they prepare for the show. If you have always wanted to take a storytelling course but have not been able to afford it, this is a great opportunity to dive right in!

Thank you for coming out to our show!

and got to see perform last night in ! The night was full of cheers and tears, and it was just the absolute right way to a bit after some depressing legislation passed.

Be sure to follow everything produces, because their mission is to illuminate some of the spaces in that have gone a bit dark.

From Collin:
“As a reminder to my fellow **rs, hold onto each other and your . Vanessa, the show runner herself, spent a lot of time during making sure and had their voices heard and found support. The strapping fellow on the with me is my straight boy BFF, and his choice to hold me up and just like show up with me was all the support I need. My parents and sister do this for me every day as well, and my closest light my clouds with every day.

Not apologizing for how this post is. Don’t say you’re sorry for how you identify. See where you can support others. Be a neighbor.”
