A holiday plate, broken and reassembled. The image is still there, but it’s not what it used to be. And that’s the point.

For a lot of people, the holidays come with fractures: routines that changed, people who are missing, traditions that don’t feel the same. This piece sits in that reality without trying to smooth it over.

Grief doesn’t disappear in December. It just shows up in a different shape.
