Greetings everyone. I just want you to know that we had hoped to do our Christmas show again this year, after our unfortunate cancellation last year. However due to availability conflicts for dates, we are having to postpone until next season. Thank you to everyone who is checking our page for news of the show this year! We hope to see you next Christmas!! Enjoy the upcoming holiday season!!

We are sad to have to postpone the production of our show until next year. We offer our sincerest apologies for getting you all excited and interested, and not being able to bring the show to the stage this year-due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances.. please do not lose heart, and please do not give up on us! We hope next year is even bigger and better! Thank you all so much for your interest... its a beautiful show, and you wont be disappointed when you attend. Meet Mimi McCrary! We are so excited and blessed to have her joining us this year to lend her vocal talents to our show. We look forward to hearing her beautiful renditions of the songs she will be singing.

Mimi McCrary - Singer/Wife/Mom/Youth Leader

Mimi has been singing since the age of 8. Winning her first ever talent show in the second grade, winning over upperclassmen in an audience of over 300 ppl. Her dad was a noted musician and later joined her in her teen years by singing background for Andrea Crouch in Los Angeles. Mimi has served as worship leader for her church, but now enjoys working as a youth leader for the Greater El Bethel Church in Garland.

Celebrating the Birth of Christ through Dance - dancing Christmas Anticipation today through the Birth of Christ using an interpretive and instrumental version of beloved Christmas Carols.

This is our first Artist Focus post for this year's show:

ARTIST FOCUS:

Meet Cindy Merworth. Cindy created the beautiful piano arrangements of beloved Christmas carols that are her collection on her CD Called Christmas Impressions. Her CD has provided me with much musical enjoyment at Christmas time for years now! Her instrumental music is so beautiful. Her beautiful music is the foundation of our show. Her music is being used and arranged in such a way to tell the story of the Birth of Christ and the surrounding events.

Cindy has blessed us with her presence at the last shows but this year she is not going to be able to be with us. We will miss her and her family's presence the night of the show! But she is still encouraging me and praying for the success of our show.

From Cindy:
Cindy has a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with her Major in Piano from Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina. She has a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is married and has 3 children. She and her husband have led worship together for 30 years together and has had a piano studio for 28 years. Her passion has always been that her music would bring joy and peace to all, and would lead people to a deeper connection with God. May you know the closeness of the Lord in your life this season.

It's Official! Christmas Impressions is being revised this Christmas season under the name of Cindy Merworth's Christmas Impressions. Our new show date is December 15 at 7:30 in Richardson, Texas, at the Eisemann Center. Tickets should go on sale in a week or so! Come on out and enjoy this beautiful show celebrating the birth of Christ- made for the whole family! It was so exhilarating to produce Christmas Impressions in December. Postproduction of the show is almost complete. Wow!! What an exciting and exquisite evening!! For all who came out to watch our show, we say Thank you, thank you, thank you. We hope you enjoyed it. Artist Focus:
Meet one of our wonderful dancers, Ellen Herold.
As an educator, Ellen feels privileged to have shared her love and enthusiasm for dance with many students, teaching and performing in Houston and Dallas area schools. Her dance formation has included a variety of dance genres. For about 13 years now she has performed Flamenco/Spanish dance with the Daniel de Cordoba bailes espanoles (Foundation), in diverse venues, and has also entertained 'seniors' with The Poole Ballet. She greatly enjoys Ballroom, and was a member of the 'USA Dance Dallas', Waltz Team under the direction of Ben de la Vega. Over the years, she has both studied and performed with Reese Fuentez (Ballroom/Argentine Tango), and is delighted to partner with him in dancing in Christmas Impressions.

Artist Focus:
Meet one of our wonderful singers: Mezzo Soprano Marisano Corsino
Marisan has performed with renowned orchestras, opera companies, and festivals, such as the Fort Worth
Symphony, the Dallas Opera, Martina Arroyo Prelude, and the Cutting Edge New Music festival in NYC where
she premiered the role of Clementine from the opera Clara by Victoria Bond.
Marisan has won several competitions and awards. Some of her awards include, the Grand Prize in the Golden
Voices of America competition where she was invited to present a recital with the Kostroma Symphony
Orchestra in Russia and first place at the AFAF Russian Music Festival and performed at Weill Recital Hall in
Carnegie Hall. She is also an Award Finalist in the Lois Alba Aria Competition, a semifinalist of the Dallas
Opera Competition, and a district winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions. Most recently
(2019-2020), she was a Philadelphia Regional finalist in the Talents of the World Competition and a first prize
winner of the American Protégé competition, Opera Aria category.
As a concert artist, she has been an active recitalist and oratorio performer making her debut as a soloist with the
Fort Worth Symphony. She has presented recitals nationally and internationally, in Austria, France, Spain,
Puerto Rico, Boston’s Jordan Hall, and New York’s Carnegie Hall. In 2019, she was invited to present a recital
at East China Normal University in Shanghai and this past summer (2020) she was part of the virtual recital
series offered by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santa Cruz in Bolivia.
Marisan received her Master and Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance New England Conservatory of Music
in Boston, MA. She obtained her Doctorate in Musical Arts from the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson
School of Music.
