A black umbrella rises above a busy newsstand in this small but striking work by Emily Lamberty. There’s so much to discover in its layers—and a reminder in its title to notice the extraordinary in the everyday.

Today is the last day to see Emily’s exhibition at Art on Main. If this piece speaks to you, come see it in person and take home an original work you can return to every day.

Extraordinary Days Are Happening Right Now

We’re open today, 10:30 AM–5 PM. Stop by before the show closes, or send us a message to ask about purchasing this piece.

THE FINAL TWO DAYS. ☂️

One of the pleasures of seeing Emily’s work in person is to take in all the details, textures and layers that simply don’t translate on a screen.

With its saturated red, deep shadows and strong geometric lines, this work turns an abandoned umbrella into an almost abstract composition—finding beauty and visual drama in something discarded.

And don’t forget to look at the sides—the text wrapping the wood panel makes the entire piece part of the composition.

Umbrella Co**se: Retrospective + New Work closes tomorrow, so this is your last chance to experience this extraordinary exhibition—and to find a piece that you might want to live with long after the show is gone.

We’re open:
☂️ Today until 5 PM
☂️ Saturday | 10:30 AM–5 PM

Come take one more look. You may just find the piece that belongs with you.
