A little freehand skull I did on my live the other night. not bad for one eye. as a one eye artist, I don't have depth perception like people with two eyes. I see the whole world in a different perspective. I don't see 3D, I see in 2D. so when people tell me my work looks real or realistic, it's a huge compliment for me. all my life I've learned to look at everythin' around me and study how the light hits it and how the shadows are formed. whether it's trees, grass, cars, walls, buildings, etc. some people claim that I wave my airbrush around like a magic wand and my artwork just appears. cuz I make it look so easy. but that's 35 years of airbrushin' y'all. I just quit tryin' to be a grand artist. cuz in reality nobody wants to pay us airbrush artist. a lot of other artists that use different mediums, don't look at us as artists. and don't get me wrong, I admire anybody that can paint with a paintbrush. because I sure can't. but I don't appreciate people tryin' to devalue our artwork either. nobody taught me, I taught myself. thru trial and error since 1990. I've used my artwork on movie sets, as far as set dressin', wardrobe, and in the art department. at first the other artist had a problem because they all went to college and got degrees and I didn't. but once they got to know me, they didn't care. I was just one of the other artists on the movie set. even though my department was Picture Cars.I loved and miss paintin' the life-size animatronic dinosaurs and giant bugs for Billings Productions. I worked hard y'all and busted my ass to get to where I am in my artwork. I never expected to become a local celebrity, and don't still care for that bs. I just want to remain underground y'all. I'm goin' to stay exclusive, I don't want everybody havin' my artwork, or clothin', or even me doin' events for. Majority of the public is full of crap, and I just try to avoid that all together. just know when you come do business with me, I don't care who's goin' to see it, I don't care who's goin' to like it, I don't even give a care if they come to me or not. All I care about is your project and you payin' me. that's it, don't need to hear no stories, I don't need to hear no sob stories either. cuz if you got money to come see me then you better get ready to pay. I don't give hookups, discounts, unless it's big orders. and if you don't want to come do business with me, IDC for real, because I'm only for the real....... Patch💪🏼
