Here is another of Oscar's watercolors that has not been featured in the past. This beautiful painting is titled "Still Standing," as it was a barn that had seen better days! Oscar's artwork will next be seen in the April 5th ART IN THE PARK, presented by Chestatee Artists! It is always in Hancock Park from 10 am to 5 pm.

Come and see my Watercolors at the Dahlonega Woman's Club Christmas Market this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 & 14! You can see my watercolors of many scenes around this beautiful community, as well as nature subject matter. My booth will be inside the Community House from 10 am to 5 pm both days. Oscar paints beautiful watercolor commissions for folks, like this lovely home in Alabama. If you are interested in having him paint one for you, just send him a few photos of your home or other scene to his notification messaging here. Price depends on the complexity of the work and size of the painting!

Oscar has painted The Smith House in watercolors! It is beautiful and you can see it and other lovely artwork by RAYNERI at the November 4, ART IN THE PARK, Nov. 4, from 10 am to 5 pm. This is the last Art in the Park for the 2023 season! Oscar also has so many other wonderful scenes of downtown historic buildings like Picnic Cafe and also other subjects like "Wine to Go!"

OSCAR RAYNERI will be displaying (and selling) his watercolors and giclee prints of his work at ART IN THE PARK this Saturday, Sept. 3, in Hancock Park, just one block from historic downtown Dahlonega. Art in the Park is held the first Saturday of each month from March to November, 10 am to 5 pm. Here are just a few of the beautiful watercolors Oscar will have for sale.
The first is of Yahoola Creek in Fall, next are Three Sisters Winery, Dahlonega Fudge Factory, Hummer's Delight, African Monarch.

Oscar is going to paint another historic building downtown. BUT WHICH ONE ?? We are asking for your ideas!! Here are the buildings he has painted in watercolors .... so far! Picnic Cafe, Gold Museum, the Fudge Factory, Connie's Ice Cream Parlor, The Holly Theatre (2 views with different marque production names), and Hall House Hotel building (Bleu Gallery), and Paul Thomas Chocolates & Giggle Monkey Toys.
Oscar has also painted "off the square" of Price Memorial, the Mountain View of UNG, Amicalola Falls, Walnut Valley (a valley view with mountains just North downtown), and Yahola Creek in Fall.

CALL TO ARTISTS: Chestatee Artists invites local and regional artists to participate in their Fall Art in the Park, Saturday, October 10, 10 am to 5 pm, in Dahlonega’s Hancock Park. Handmade and original arts and crafts will be accepted for this event. Booth fees for the day will be $25, and the deadline to apply is September 26. Booths will be spread out to ensure social distancing and artists will need to wear face masks and are encouraged to provide hand sanitizer. Monetary awards will be given for the most creative face masks and the public will also be encouraged to design and wear a creative mask for the competition. Artist Applications can be obtained by contacting Letty Rayneri at [email protected].
