Cheryl's Theatrical Face Painting Face painting and glitter tattoos Theatrical Face painting is not cheek art. I do not draw. I create, and no design is the same.

I use high pigmented make-up (not paint) and body glitter (not craft glitter). Many people try and copy this type of art, but please never let anyone use paint on your face. The pigmented dye that is used in paint can be toxic to your eyes, and craft glitter is made of cut glass. Always ask the appropriate questions before letting anyone paint you or your child's face. No face or persons skin is t

he same, and working outdoors is very different than working in doors. It is a continues learning process. Some skin types take to the make up and some do not, but I try my best to please.

A quick reminder that downtown streets will be closing at 3:45 p.m., and all on-street parking within the event area must be cleared by 5 p.m. Vehicles remaining after that time will be towed, so be sure to move your car before enjoying the festivities.

The entertainment district will be in effect from 6-10 p.m. and several public parking options are available nearby.

Bring your children to the Lafayette, Al Rocking Fest tomorrow, Saturday, November 15th. I will be close to the Largest Rocking Horse face painting. The specialty for the day is Rudolf and Grinch, but I will also be painting those unicorns, fairies, and Aquatic humanoids, aka mermaids. So bring those little princesses to see me. Pike Road Festival. It was a fast-paced kind of day. I am exhausted!! I have bragged about Santa and Ms. Clause. Mrs. Clause takes time every year to make Her and Santa a new outfit for this special appearance. If you did not make it this year, plan to come next year and take your family photos with them. Thank you Pike Road Arts and Crafts Fair. It is always a joy to be one of your face painters.
