Rehearsal has begun for our musical theater play which our DPAC kids will be performing in November. We have an average of 20 children who practice each Tuesday afternoon immediately after school. Not only are they tired but hungry as well.

We would proudly accept donations of food and water to energize and hydrate these hard working young folks. Feel free to donate snacks that can be left at the Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. Monetary donations will be accepted to purchase costumes as well.

If any individual or business would assist in the cost of underwriting the event, we never say “no”.

The program will be taught by Chuck Hart (of Griffin, GA & Jackson’s Gap, AL), who has taught many adults to play the ukulele and has helped students develop the skills and confidence to participate in ukulele ensembles. The cost is $140 per student. Space is limited, with a target enrollment of 8–12 students, so don’t wait to reserve your spot. Come pick up a ukulele, learn something new, and enjoy making music with others!

What a beautiful day to celebrate “International Pickin Music on the Porch” day than to enjoy “creating music with friends”. Good music and good friends in front of Dadeville Performing Arts Center!

Thank you Montgomery Dulcimer Club for another couple of hours of Jammin’ with friends from Montgomery, Millbrook, Prattville, and Lochapolka as we “created music together” and met new friends and celebrated with ole ones!

If you are interested in playing, singing, or enjoying good music, meet with us at Dadeville Performing Arts Centers on Thursday from 2:00 - 3:00 every Thursday.
