Pandemic 2020
We sure miss seeing the banners flying , the community participants, the great coloring contest participants and everything about this long standing event.

Hopefully public health orders will permit this event next year.

Our local elected officials are working hard to get our Parks open but currently stay at home orders are in place and it looks like FUN is not possible in July for the Cypress Community Festival. Our Bands and performers are ready if we are able to reschedule but any decision would be of course with the safety of all concerned as the main concern.

As Covid-19 continues to be an issue across the United States and California, we want to keep everyone up-to-date on the 2020 Cypress Community Festival.

Many people, including exhibitors and vendors are asking what our plans are for the 2020 Festival:
As of today, we are making plans for the festival to happen perhaps in a new normal. We would be naive and careless not to be making alternative plans for continued social distancing in case some form continues into July or beyond. The health and safety of our guests, vendors and exhibitors is our number one priority. Covid-19 is presenting challenges to not only our Festival, but to all businesses and community members. Our final decision to hold the Festival on some date in 2020 will follow direction from our Governor Newsome’s office, California Department of Public Health, Center for Disease Control, the City of Cypress and local public health officials. We don’t know when we will be able to make the final decision, but will make it as soon as possible and in coordination with our participant partners and interested government bodies.

Our March meeting will be an online meeting pm your email if you are interested in participating.

The city has canceled usage of the community and senior center in response to the Governors orders to mitigate the virus.
