BHS Orchestra Leadership Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 school year!

Have you talked with your student about becoming more involved in the orchestra program next year?

Our orchestra leadership team plays a huge role in supporting the success, culture, organization, and community of the Bridgeland Orchestra program throughout the year. Leadership opportunities include Vice President positions as well as officer committees/teams in:
🎻 Social
🎻 Logistics
🎻 Service
🎻 Librarian
🎻 Media

Incoming 9th graders are eligible to apply for officer committees as well!

Students selected for leadership roles will be expected to demonstrate initiative, reliability, professionalism, communication, and consistent follow-through throughout the school year.

🎻 DINNER & A SHOW is THIS FRIDAY! 🎻

Join the Bridgeland High School Orchestra for an evening of live music, great food, and student performances at BHS Commons on Friday, May 8!

🍽 Dinner catered by Andy’s Kitchen is included with admission:
Deconstructed lasagna, salad, bread, and drink
🎶 Act 1: 4:30–6:30 PM
🎶 Act 2: 6:45–9:00 PM

Come for one act or stay for both!
🎟 $20 admission — pay at the door

Next we have Kate Ware! An amazing violist, Kate is incredibly talented and kind. She is prepared for class and always eager to learn. Her warm and friendly personality is truly inspiring, and those qualities will carry her far in all that she pursues. We are so proud of you Kate!

Now we have Ellie Ware! Ellie is a gifted violinist, and she is always up and ready when you need her. She works hard to help others and herself, always looking for new ways to improve. Her talent has contributed to the orchestra so much. We are so grateful for your musicianship and passion Ellie!

Say hello to Lijun Goh! Lijun is an exceptional violinist and is always there when you’re down. She has the warmest, soothing energy and will always match your mood. Her playing will be remembered in all of our hearts, and we cannot wait to see what she will accomplish next. Way to go Lijun!

Today we’re celebrating Grace, a violinist in the Bridgeland Orchestra! Grace has been a phenomenal leader and musician, serving as an orchestra officer and contributing to nearly every aspect of our program—including arranging music for our concerts. Her talent, dedication, and heart for this orchestra have made a lasting impact.
As she prepares to pursue Piano Performance at UH, we know she has an incredible future ahead. She will be deeply missed, and we can’t wait to see where life takes her!
