Happy 🐾

Honestly? This might be my favorite design I make.

The process is a little rough — carving each paw print by hand and pressing underglaze into every groove — BUT every single time it comes out of the kiln I remember exactly why I keep doing it.

Dog Days at the Lake. A shoreline glaze that fades from blue through warm brown crystals into soft green.

Okay listen.

These mugs have been sitting on the shelf acting like they pay rent.

They don’t.

So I knocked these older fellas down to $29 because clearly they need new scenery.

Same sturdy brown speckled clay. Same wheel-thrown goodness. Same dishwasher-safe durability.

They’re just… tired of my house.

I knew better.

This broke because during the very fragile greenware stage I stacked other pieces on top of it before firing.

I literally thought, “I should be more careful.”

And then added more. And more.
