It is with a heavy heart that we had to announce the cancellation of our 2016 Riverfront Concert Series by IROK this week. We sincerely apologize for the short notice. It was a very difficult decision to make and we wanted to explore all possible options to try avoiding cancellation. We are a non-profit committee, comprised of a small number of volunteers that meet weekly all year long. We cannot stress enough that we had done everything in our power to continue our concert series for our wonderful city over the last two years. Our Riverfront Concert Series has raised nearly $70,000 for local charities that served the community in its two years of existence. We are extremely proud of those numbers and we wanted nothing more than to give back as much as possible while providing free entertainment. Unfortunately, due to lack of attendance and beer sales this year, for what ever the many reasons may be, our committee is heartbroken over this difficult decision. We are extremely grateful for our run and we can’t thank the Cuyahoga Falls community supporters, bands, vendors, charities, and sponsors enough for assisting in making our time with the city fun and meaningful. IROK, Inc. truly appreciates everyone’s support with this decision. Everyone involved has spent countless hours making Friday nights at the riverfront possible. Thank you again to all who helped provide incredible food, service, and entertainment to this community.
