Join us July 5th for the second concert in our Bach solo violin program! Some words from Emma:

“This is a very special program, both in the context of musical history and personally. The Second Solo Sonata by Bach was the first full Bach work that I ever tackled, and at 10 years old, I had no idea at the time that the piece would become a lifelong journey. The Second Solo Partita, by contrast, is the last one I am learning. Due to its formidable reputation of difficulty and bottomless emotional depth, especially with the iconic final Chaconne, I always somehow avoided performing it. However, I think it’s finally time to face this piece head-on, and | look forward to going on this maiden voyage with all of you!”

Our season’s opening concert featured violinist Claire Bourg, cellist Joshua Halpern, and pianist and Rites of Spring Artistic Director Paolo Bartolani sharing works by Mozart, Widmann, Kopatchinskaja, and Schubert at the beautiful . Thank you to everyone who joined us for this wonderful evening of music! Our Schubert program continues September 6th with the Ulysses Quartet🎵

The Rites of Spring Music Festival is presenting J.S. Bach's Complete Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin at the historic Naugles Barn at Hallockville Museum Farm.
It's a rare opportunity to hear all six of Bach's monumental solo violin works performed in an intimate, rustic setting deeply tied to the North Fork

SEA, SOIL & SOUL Opening Season Concert at the R G | N Y
We're kicking off the Rites of Spring concert season with a wonderful trio at the R G | N Y Riverhead! It's an exciting event of music, spring celebration and appreciation of the North Fork agricultural scene. Doors open at 4:00pm. You will receive a glass of wine and can walk through the vineyard to enjoy the natural landscape before the concert starts at 5:00pm.
