If you find yourself reading this, I hope it encourages you to take that leap and put your artwork out there. You never know where it might take you!
I remember being a young child and knowing I would love nothing more than to be able to paint for a living. It was a harsh reality to learn the term "starving artist." Outside of painting, I developed a love of working with young children from early childhood in local daycares to elementary aged with the opportunity of assisting with behavior and reading intervention. Through many different types of support, I now find myself able to stay home with my sweet son, which has opened up time to pursue my hobby as a passion.
If you, or someone you know, has reached out to me in the past few months requesting mural work- my inner child thanks you so big. 🫂
Pictured below is a finished piece at Moyock United Methodist Church in Moyock, NC. I am currently working on 2 other pieces at this location, and look forward to sharing with you as I complete them.
