They will learn how to use new tools or improve a technique, and create work in our facilities.. Art class for kids and adults in Cupertino. Creativity is a state of mind. We all have great ideas, we just have to learn to express them. Learn the skills, the rest will follow.. Our class demonstrates that anyone can learn to draw and paint. Students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting,

and design. Students will learn the correct techniques to drawing shapes, figures, and many other different objects. Once students are proficient in their drawing skills, they progress into the exploration of painting mediums. Students receive extensive instruction in the use of each painting medium, including color-mixing, painting techniques, and the proper use and care of materials. They will also learn how to express their imagination and feelings with various materials.. The goal is to inspire and awaken student's artistic passions. Students will be taught individually and designed with a personalized curriculum, taking into account personal abilities, skills, interests and needs, moving ahead at their own pace. Class size is kept small (maximum class size limited to 5 students) to emphasize personal attention. We create a warm and accepting atmosphere where everyone can feel successful with their efforts while having fun and appreciating both the product and the process of making art. Students will be exposed to a variety of different styles of art , different media (from color pencils, pastels, watercolors to pen & ink, acrylic, oils, charcoal, graphite and much more.), along with different art techniques (from basic principles to advanced level) and projects. Besides learning technical and artistic skills, students gain patience, focus, pride and confidence in their work.
