Established in 2008. Lan Art School was founded in 2008, and

is now the biggest art school in Warm Springs community with more than 150 students.

2008 - 2013, Home studio founded by Lan. Lan is a professional artist in Pictorial art. Jan 2014, We moved to a brand new 1000 sq ft studio located at 200 Brown Rd. We formed a teaching team with a few active artists and introduced Clay, Photography, Comic and Fashion design to our school.

Last week, all CalColor locations took the classroom to the park! 🌸

Once a year during the spring semester, our students practice “Plein Air” drawing, capturing the beautiful trees and landscapes around them. 🏡 It’s a wonderful way to give them a new perspective and a refreshing change of scenery! ☀️

We had artists of all ages join us, from our youngest creators in the Exploration program (ages 4–6) all the way to our Teen Program students (14+). ✨

This semester our Exploration students (ages 4-6) created beautiful portraits of either themselves or their favorite person. 🧑‍🎨

They drew, colored, and painted on their own!🖼️

Materials used were oil pastels, air dry clay, and gold acrylic paint. ✨

Our Foundation students (ages 7-9) created super unique artwork! 🖼️

The project was to make their own character eating a food of their choice. 🍰

They could pick fun facial expressions depending on whether their food was spicy, sour, sweet, etc. ✨

They also cut out fun shapes to help express their character’s emotions on the background.
