✂️ It may look like we’re cutting down perfectly good flowers… but this is one of the most important jobs in the flower field.
We’re deadheading our zinnias—removing blooms that are past their prime so the plants put their energy into producing fresh flowers instead of making seeds. It’s a lot of work, but it’s the secret to keeping the field healthy, colorful, and blooming all the way into fall.
