We’d like to clarify how shipping is calculated during today’s Buy One, Get One 50% Off promotion (album core kits).

Shipping is calculated based on the total retail value of the products being shipped before promotional discounts are applied, rather than the final discounted purchase amount.

This is similar to an order where CM Credits are used. While credits or promotional discounts reduce the amount you pay for the products, shipping is still calculated based on the subtotal/value of the items being shipped.

We hope this helps clarify what you may see during checkout. Thank you, and enjoy today’s promotion!

📣 QUICK DIE-CUTTING FYI!

Several people have asked whether the new Creative Memories dies, embossing folders and plates will work with other brands of die-cutting machines.

Here’s the easy answer:

✅ Dies & Embossing Folders = YES, in many cases!
❌ Plates & Platforms = NO — use the ones made for your machine.

Creative Memories dies and embossing folders may work with other brands of manual die-cutting machines. You’ll want to follow your machine manufacturer’s recommendations for the correct “sandwich,” and you may need to add a shim or make a small adjustment to get the right pressure.

👉 The plates are different. Creative Memories plates are specifically designed to create the correct sandwich and pressure in the Creative Memories machine. They are not intended to replace the plates/platforms made for machines like the Big Shot, Spellbinders, etc.

So the easiest way to remember it:

✂️ DIES/FOLDERS = often cross-compatible
🩵 PLATES/PLATFORMS = stick with YOUR machine’s system

Hope that clears up one of the biggest questions I’ve been getting! 😊
