Over 4,000 members and hundreds of program participants enjoy interacting with a friendly, caring staff. Every member has free access to a complete wellness center, 6-lane main pool, warm-water pool, full gymnasium, climbing wall, walking/jogging track, indoor field house, babysitting room, locker facilities and so much more, with the purchase of a Y membership! wntown Cumberland, is home to a variety of options to serve the Allegany County Community. The Gilchrist Center provides a supportive environment and positive role models who help to meet social service needs for both individuals and families that might otherwise be unmet. The Family Center provides programs and activities for expectant parents and families with children aged 8 weeks through 48 months old. Activities for families include indoor/outdoor play, art, music, dramatic play, computer time, and pre-reading. There are also activities geared toward parents including parent enrichment, parent support group, and computer literacy programs. All activities and programs are free of charge and transportation is available. Transitional Family Housing apartments as well Single Room Occupancy units are available at The Gilchrist Center for individuals in need.

We have been made aware that unauthorized individuals may be contacting vendors, sponsors, teams, and attendees regarding payments related to Dragons on the Lake.
Please remember that ALL official event communications and payment requests come directly from the Cumberland YMCA and our authorized event representatives. We will never ask you to send payments to a personal account or an individual not associated with our organization.
If you receive a suspicious email, message, or payment request claiming to Dragons on the Lake, please do not send payment.
