Today’s Saturday Samples at RootsTable featured handmade savory hand pies — flaky, golden pastries filled with bold, seasonal ingredients and served as a preview of what’s taking shape upstairs at the Ferleman Gallery.
Guests sampled two versions:
• Wayne’s Country Fresh Meat pie with caramelized onions and blue cheese dressing
• Granny Smith apple, brie cheese, and cherry balsamic dressing
When RootsTable opens in mid-June, evenings at the gallery will become more than dinner reservations. Guests will be able to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal before heading downstairs to experience live performances at Gallery Stage — bringing together food, music, and atmosphere under one roof.
A full night out built around art, conversation, and live music is getting closer every week.
