We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but safety is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and support.
Stay safe, stay warm, and keep on dancing at home — we’ll see everyone next week! 🩰✨

11/24 update: We know everyone has been anxiously waiting for an update on PJ — thank you for your patience as we waited to hear from his family. On Friday, we let them know that we were optimistic enough about meeting our fundraising goal that they could go ahead and schedule the MRI and surgery. Ultimately, they decided to wait and speak with their regular vet today — someone they trust deeply. Over the weekend, they saw some hopeful and unexpected improvements, including the return of some bladder control and movement in his back legs and tail. After today’s exam, they collectively decided not to move forward with surgery. Instead, they’ll be pursuing a combination of crate rest, anti-inflammatories, physical and water therapy, and, if needed, a wheel-cart. They truly believe this approach will continue to help him improve.
Although we advocated for surgery, we completely understand their hesitation to put PJ through an invasive procedure with inherent risks — especially after seeing meaningful progress in just a few days. The most important news is that PJ will NOT be euthanized, and the funds raised can still directly support his long rehabilitation journey.
We are so grateful for everyone’s incredible generosity. We’ve shared with PJ’s family that we’re happy to assist with the costs of ongoing PT and, if necessary, the cart. Read our full update: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1259280616245149&set=a.553823550124196

Thank you, truly 💜

Update: Thank you for your incredibly generous support! Pete has an appointment with their vet Monday to discuss next steps, and we're standing by to support his medical journey thanks to your contributions. Stay tuned!

💔 Emergency -- We need help to save PJ's life! 💔 He’s in pain, and his family is facing a heartbreaking choice: surgery or euthanasia.

PJ is going home tonight with a catheter, unable to control his bladder, after suddenly losing the use of his back legs. A slipped disk is suspected, and the cost for an MRI and spine surgery is over $10,000. So far, what we’ve raised—plus the family’s remaining CareCredit—covers only about half of what PJ urgently needs. His prognosis could be very good with surgery, but time is running out.

PJ’s family is already struggling after his owner was recently hospitalized for over two months, and this vet bill is crushing. He is only five years old—he deserves a chance.

Please help us give PJ that chance. Every donation makes a difference: ripetnetwork.org/donate

If you represent a business or organization and can help, please email [email protected] to discuss how you can contribute.

🙏 PJ’s life is in your hands—let’s give him hope.
