🛹🔥 SKATE. MUSIC. COMMUNITY. AND A LEGEND. 🔥🛹

Our friends at Pawns Amongst Kings, Huckabay skateboards, and Savage Mountain Punk Arts have been working hard to bring legendary skateboarder Chuck Treece and his band McRad to headline this special event at Dig Deep Brewing Co to benefit the Allegany County Animal Shelter! 🐶🐱

Chuck Treece is a true pioneer of skateboarding. A professional skateboarder, musician, and influential figure in skate and punk culture, Chuck has been breaking barriers and inspiring skaters for decades. He made history as the first African American professional skateboarder to appear on the cover of Thrasher Magazine and is known for his powerful, creative style and lasting impact on skateboarding.

And this isn’t just about watching a legend — the brewery parking lot is turning into a skate contest, with live music, good food, cold drinks, and the kind of community atmosphere that makes skateboarding so special. 🎶🛹🍻

The weather may not be cooperating, but we’re not letting that stop us! Beginner BMX lessons and our community cookout are still ON today at the skatepark.

We’re doing our best to make the most of the situation and create a great day for our community. ❤️

We’ve hit a few unexpected challenges preparing for this weekend’s event, but thanks to the incredible support of B & B Country Meats and KMK Insurance Agency, we’re happy to say the event will continue as planned!

We’re excited to bring everyone together for a full weekend at the skatepark! Come out to ride, learn, enjoy some food and music, support local vendors, and most importantly — celebrate our community! ❤️

To participate in the cookout, bring a canned or non-perishable food item. In exchange, you’ll receive food from the community cookout!

All donated food items will be collected and donated to The Hope Station to help support local families in need. ❤️
