Cumberland Gap FolkFest

Cumberland Gap FolkFest FolkFest was founded in 1974 by the Townlift Committee as an event to
highlight folk arts & crafts to promote the historic town of Cumberland Gap.

The daylong event occurred on & off for twenty years and now, after nearly twenty years, FolkFest is BACK!!!

Back in 2003, past FolkFest Appalachian Supper MC and Heartland Series host Bill Landry teamed up with Dolly Parton for a heck of an April Fool's Day joke. Our own Cumberland Gap Tunnel played a small role in it.
